About Us

Learn a little bit about who we are

The 3016 Airdrie Highlander Cadet Corp parades offers local youth aged 12 to 19 opportunities to learn and have fun in a structured environment. The aim of the Cadet Program is to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness and stimulate an interest of youth in the sea, army and air activities of the Canadian Armed Forces.

We parade out of the Airdrie Koinonia School located at 77 Gateway Dr NE, Airdrie, AB T4B 0J6. We parade most Tuesday evenings from 1830 hrs to 2115 hrs (630pm until 915pm). We start up in September and parade through to early June.

Our corp does three field training exercises (FTXs) where cadets are in the field for a weekend learning and practicing field skills. We offer a Pipes and Drums band, and if we have enough cadets participating a Marksmanship team and a Drill team.

If you have a cadet who is of age and is interested in participating, come by the school on a regular parade night to see what we are all about, ask questions, get paperwork, and register.
