On behalf of the staff, Parents Support Committee and Ed Liukaitis(Army Cadet League), thank you for all who signed in tonight for the Virtual Awards 2019/2020.
It was great to see you all and I am proud to be your Commanding Officer!
Merry Christmas and wish well during the holidays.
See you all in January 2021!
As we are all in the midst of COVID, preparing for Christmas and finishing school virtually, I have decided to present the Annual Awards from last year, tomorrow virtually. The following is the instructions to login on.
Meeting ID: 845 528 348 2
Meeting URL: https://bluejeans.com/8455283482
Presentation starts at 1900hrs (7pm)
Please only one person per family to sign in as we have limited space.
Please sign in as the cadet's name to keep track of attendance, who is signed in and I will be able to kick out whomever is not supposed to be there.
This will be the only time this information will be shared publicly as we transition to using the Team Snap App.
All awards will be presented except for the medals. As we believe that this should be done once we get parading back in person.
Once signed in please mute your microphone.
A question-and-answer period will occur after the awards. Please type in the comment section your questions so we can keep track of them.
Cadets are to wear uniform if it fits.
Also, exciting news, we have created a unit Instagram Page. 3016armycadets - Please like it and if you have any pictures please send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you all tomorrow!!!

I am sure you have be wondering, with the new restrictions what is happening with cadets. We officially got the orders that all in person training is to cease until January 2021.
The staff and senior cadets will be meeting virtually tomorrow night to develop a plan to keep you all engaged and apart of the program.
If you have any ideas please reach out to your Platoon Warrant and they will present it up the chain of command.
Any questions please let me know!
As many of you are wondering with the new COVID restrictions what is happening with our unit.
These restrictions technically do not include the cadet program, but with the cadet’s safety as our number one priority, orders from our headquarters, and the goal to curve COVID exposure, we have been given direction to cease all in person cadet training until 1 Dec.
What does that mean?
1. All ACR awards and presentations will occur 1 Dec.
2. The three dates in December 1, 8, and 15 will consist of training and a bunch of fun activities.
3. Senior cadets will be engaged in the next week with a virtual meeting.
4. If the cease training goes past 1 Dec, the staff and senior cadets will develop a temporary solution to keep you all engaged!
Bear with us as we ensure training occurs but keeping your safety always in mind.
Any questions please reach out!
Fundraising is in full swing for the Corps. We looked for something that would be a Covid friendly way to continue fundraising this year.
That being said, we are in the middle of the Purdy's Chocolate, which is doing amazing! Thank you for your support so far. Payments are made when you submit your order. Order cut off is November 25 and will be back and ready for pickup December 8th. Click on the link and either register as a new customer or log in as a returning customer. Once you have signed in, you can join the Cadet Group 57293.
As an alternative to chocolates, we have Poinsettia and festive planters from Growing Smiles. This will be a quick turnaround time with an order deadline of Friday, November 20th in order to have a delivery date of Saturday, December 5th. This will give us lots of time to enjoy the greenery prior to the holidays.
To make this a Covid safe fundraiser, Payments will be etransfer only. Pick up will be curbside at the school on Saturday, December 5th.
Thank you for your support,
