Calgary Highlanders Royal Canadian Army Cadets
Founded July 1st, 1986, sponsored by the Airdrie Legion Branch #288 and the Calgary Highlander Regiment
The annual returning cadet packages have been distributed to cadets by email this year instead of in person. All the packages have been sent out to the email addresses verified by recent senior cadet calls or as listed in the cadet FORTRESS database.
If you did NOT receive your package electronically, check your SPAM folder and other email addresses that we might have on file.
Just a reminder that the contents are individualized for each cadet. The documents that are needing review/correction and signing are due NO LATER THAN 29 September, 2020.
If you have any questions or did not receive the package, please reach out to CI Scott Haleimmediately. Failure to return the documents in complete order and signed on-time may complicate your cadet's return to the unit.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
CI Scott Hale

Please read and understand the document concerning COVID 19 and Cadets:
If you have any questions please reach out to Capt Wood.
I hope you have had a good summer.
The staff of the unit have been working hard with our Headquarters (HQ) to develop a plan for cadets to start this coming year. The following are the updates that pertain to our unit:
1. Cadets will resume 6 October for returning cadets. In partnership with HQ, the school and staff of the unit, this will allow our unit to be successful with implementing training along with any COVID restrictions.
2. There will be a senior cadet training day to discuss the training requirements to be implemented and COVID procedures.
3. Recruitment. Please contact the DCO, Capt Barton for all recruiting inquiries. Jbarton01@shaw.ca
This will be challenging times but also rewarding. The staff and senior cadets of the unit have been working hard to ensure that the unit will function to the outstanding level we have all set. With the ever changing requirements from HQ, I wasn’t able to send out a Len earlier message.
If you have any questions please let me know!
