Marksmanship Announcements

There will be a MANDATORY Marksmanship Team meeting on Tuesday January 7th for parents and cadets, this only includes the following: >> CWO Lam >> WO Petkau >> WO Rose >> Sgt Basu >> MCpl Robertson >> Cpl Gerrard >> Cpl Wall >> Sgt Pratt >> MCpl Lacusta >> Cpl Wells >> MCpl Oree >> MCpl Duckworth >> Cpl Buss >> MCpl Grabowski >> Cdt Atienza Meeting will be held immediately after closing parade at 2110hrs. The calendar at the beginning of the year states that there is a practice Sunday January 5th. Timings for this practice will be from 10am-1pm at the Calgary Police Service Headquarters located at 5111 47 St NE. Please ensure of a prompt pick up as we only have the facility till noon. Another practice will be held January 12 from 8:30am-12pm. Same location. Again please ensure a prompt pickup. Another practice will be held on January 19th from 8:30am-12pm. Same location. Again please ensure a prompt pick up. Our final marksmanship team practice will be 2nd of February from 10am-2pm. Same location and the cadets will be shooting their competition targets. A later practice is to ensure the cadets are well rested and fed before shooting their targets. Parents will be welcome to come and watch and cadets will be assigned a 10am-12pm timing or a 12pm-2pm timing. Please arrive a little early so we can have everyone signed in and ready to go for 10am! After this competition shoot we will not find out results of who made it to the Provincial Marksmanship competition until the beginning of March and hopefully we can announce this on CO’s parade in March. Summer camp presentation

All parents who have cadets who wish to attend summer camp **MUST** attend the summer camp presentation on Tuesday. Forms will be available for camp selection. Note that parents who have sent their cadets to camp before will have a shorter briefing than parents who have not sent their cadet to camp. Returning parents will be briefed first and first-time parents afterwards as the first-time parent presentation is longer.

Corp Christmas Party

The Christmas Party is on December 15th 3:00-7:00 pm at the Crossfield Community Hall. Please sign up for the potluck here here. Please make enough for your family plus a little bit extra. Every family is also asked to bring a litre of pop or juice so that we have enough for everyone to drink. Coffee and tea will be supplied. Cadets should bring a unisex gift (limit no more than $15) for the gift exchange. On the potluck signup link, please also indicate number of siblings and their ages who will be attending the party. Dress is civilian clothing.

Parents Committee Meeting / Food Donation

Just a reminder that there is a Parents Committee Meeting Tuesday, December 3, at 1900 hrs (7pm) upstairs at the school. Cadets are reminded to bring items for the food bank boxes as well.
